You Can Triple Your Engagement Rates Just By Adjusting Your Timing

So, when should you posts?

Unfortunately, this question is not easy to answer, but there is a way for us to determine the exact best time.

The optimal time for you to post on Facebook is going to be different for you than it will be for me. It will also be different depending on your location and the practice area that you specialize in. Therefore, you’ll need to use a tool called Facebook Insights to see when the most people engage with your Facebook page.

Here is a screenshot from Facebook’s help section that indicates where to find the “Insights” tab:

Now that you know where to find the insights regarding your engagement, here is how you can indentify the best time to post:

Start by posting multiple times per day everyday for a week.

For example, post in 2 hour increments starting at 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 8pm, 10pm and then posts Monday-Sunday.

In understand it is difficult to do this on a continual basis, but by spreading out your posts, Facebook will be able to collect the data needed to show you the optimal time to posts.

Check back into your Facebook Insights often to monitor the posts with the highest engagement and the day & time. It may take a few weeks to collect the data, but the last step is to experiment by posting your best posts when you’ve experienced high engagement in the pasts.

This process can increase your engagement rate substantialy.
